Donald Hutchinson, 74, was arrested on Wednesday, Sept. 18, when the Shelton Police were called to Indian Wells Road for a man causing a disturbance on a Shelton school bus, said Shelton Police Det. Richard Bango.
Once on the scene, officers found that Hutchinson stopped the bus with his personal vehicle by stopping in front of it, Bango said.
Hutchinson then boarded the bus and engaged the female bus driver in an argument. There were three small children on the bus at the time.
An investigation found that Hutchinson said he stopped the bus because he was upset over an argument that occurred between him and the bus driver the day before.
Hutchinson was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and three counts of risk of injury to a child.
He was released on $2,500 bond.
